Upon arrival in Huangshan, our professional guide will meet you at the airport or the train station. After a warm greeting, you will be escorted to the hotel by a comfortable drive. If time permits, we will arrange a visit to the Tunxi Old Street today, which is lined with Hui-style buildings along the flagstone lanes. All kinds of local specialties and snacks can be found in quaint storefronts on the street.​

The Yellow Mountain is the must-visit attraction in Huangshan and woos visitors with vagarious pines and rocks, the sea of clouds, and hot springs. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Yellow Mountain Scenic Area and spend the following three days taking in refreshing natural scenes inside.

We will arrive at the Yellow Mountain by a 1.5 hours' ride and then transit to a shuttle bus of the scenic area to reach the Mercy Light Temple, from where we are going to take a 5 hours' hiking to the heart of the mountain. Along the 9 miles hiking route, we will encounter a lot of incredible sights including Jade Screen Peak, Guest Greeting Pine, Lotus Peak, Ladder on the Clouds, A Monk Meditating, One-Line Sky, Turtle Peak, Bright Summit, and Falling Rock from Sky… When the whole day's hiking is finished, we will check in a hotel on the mountain to spend the night.

​Friendly Tips

This in-depth hiking of Huangshan is exhilarating and at the same time very physically demanding. Hiking trials of the Yellow Mountain are sometimes located on the edge of cliffs especially at the Ladder on the Clouds. Please be careful while climbing and stop your steps if you want to enjoy the scenery or take pictures.

If it is clear, our guide will take you to watch the stunning sunrise over rolling peaks of the Yellow Mountain early this morning. After that, we will trek for about 8.5 miles through the West Sea Valley from Cloud Dispersing Pavilion to the bottom, and then take the telpher to the White Cloud Scenic Area and overlook grotesque peaks, including The Fairy Playing Chinese Zither, The Immortal Drying the Boot, A Dog Gazing the Moon, Stone Column Peak, Camel Peak, and Pine Forest Peaks, during the journey.

After that, we will continue hiking to the Buxian Bridge which is a small arch bridge connecting two towering cliffs and crossing over formidable abyss. When the visit is over, we will backtrack to the White Cloud Scenic Area and then get back to the hotel.

After breakfast, you will be accompanied to hike for around one hour to visit the Lion Peak, Flower Grown out Of a Writing Brush Rock, and Beginning-to-Believe Peak. When you finish the visit, this 4-day Huangshan private tour will also come to an end. It will take us 3 hours to descend.
