### Xi’an Intangible Cultural Heritage & Handcraft Full-Day Experience Tour **08:00 – Hotel Pickup & Departure** Your professional English-speaking guide and driver will meet you at your hotel lobby at 8:00 AM, then drive you to the first stop for a fully immersive day of traditional culture and hands-on folk craft experiences. **09:00 – 10:30 Visit to Beilin (Forest of Steles Museum)** Start the cultural journey at Beilin Museum, China’s largest and most prestigious stone stele collection, home to over 3,000 ancient stone tablets spanning 2,000 years of history. Wander through the tranquil exhibition halls to admire masterpieces of Chinese calligraphy by legendary masters, important historical inscriptions and delicate stone carvings, tracing the evolution of Chinese characters and the beauty of traditional calligraphy art. **10:30 – 11:30 Stamped Paper (Traditional Stone Rubbing) Experience** Right inside the museum, join a guided stone rubbing workshop led by local craft inheritors. You will learn the thousand-year-old technique: lay fine rice paper over a carved stone stele, dab ink evenly across the surface, and carefully peel off the paper to reveal a crisp, authentic copy of the ancient calligraphy. You will finish your own stamped paper artwork to take home, as a tangible souvenir of classical Chinese culture. **12:00 – 13:30 Biangbiang Noodle Making Experience & Lunch** Head to a local family-run restaurant for a fun, hands-on noodle-making class. Under the guidance of an experienced local chef, you will knead, roll and slap the dough to make the iconic wide, chewy biangbiang noodles — the signature comfort food of Shaanxi, named for the sound of dough hitting the wooden board. You will then enjoy your handmade noodles with classic savory toppings for lunch, tasting the authentic, homestyle flavor of Xi’an. **14:00 – 15:00 Traditional Paper Cutting Experience** Next, visit a folk craft studio to learn Chinese paper cutting, a UNESCO-listed intangible cultural heritage dating back over 1,500 years. The artisan will teach you basic cutting techniques and explain the auspicious meanings behind classic patterns. With just a pair of scissors and red paper, you will create your own delicate paper-cut work featuring symbols of good fortune, flowers or traditional animals. **15:00 – 16:00 Handmade Sachet Crafting** Continue the craft journey by making traditional Chinese herbal sachets. Filled with aromatic natural herbs such as wormwood, mint and lavender, these embroidered sachets have been used for centuries to repel insects, purify the air and carry blessings for good luck. You will sew, decorate and fill your own custom sachet, making a fragrant, practical and meaningful keepsake. **16:00 – 17:30 Mini Terracotta Warrior Making Experience** Wrap up the day’s craft activities with a mini terracotta warrior making workshop. Using the same local clay and ancient molding techniques used to create the 2,200-year-old Terracotta Army, you will shape, sculpt and carve details into your own small warrior figurine under artisan guidance. You can replicate a classic imperial warrior design or add personal creative touches, and take your finished handmade piece home as a memorable souvenir of Xi’an. **18:00 – Return to Hotel** After a full day of immersive cultural experiences, your driver will escort you back to your hotel, concluding the tour.

We had an incredible time exploring Dali with Wandrift China Tour. The ancient towns, peaceful Erhai Lake and stunning snow-capped Cangshan Mountain took our breath away. Dali’s slow lifestyle, fresh air and unique local culture are absolutely charming. Every arrangement was well-organized, and our guide was friendly, professional and thoughtful. Thank you so much to Wandrift China Tour for creating such a wonderful and memorable Dali journey for our family. We truly enjoyed every moment.

The car is brand new. V rented it for two days: one day for a 10-hour tour in Hong Kong, and one day to take us to Shenzhen to visit and then return us to Hong Kong later that evening. NOT BAD.

My mom and I took this 5-day Chengdu tour. She's 68 and likes temples, tea, and slow walking. This trip was made for her. First day in Chengdu, our guide Wei took us to a local teahouse where old men played mahjong and parrots whistled. Mom loved it. Next day, Leshan Buddha. The stairs down to its feet are steep, but Wei found us a boat instead. Seeing the 71-meter giant from the river, mom just kept saying "wow." Emei Mountain was the highlight. We stayed overnight at a temple near the summit. Monks chanting at dawn, mist rolling through ancient pines. Mom cried a little. "My father told me about this place when I was a little girl," she said. Wei carried our bags the whole way. Small thing, meant everything. For anyone traveling with older parents in Sichuan, book this.
