8:00 - 11:00
Tiananmen Square & Forbidden City

Let’s start this Beijing small group tour package from the Tiananmen Square, the venue for major national ceremonies and celebrations. Take a walk on this large square that can accommodate one million people at a time, and shoot photos of the landmarks around, including the Tiananmen Tower, Great Hall of the People, Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, and National Museum.

Go straight north, and we’ll come to the 600-year-old Forbidden City. Due to its immense popularity, please anticipate a substantial entry queue during peak season even with our securing reservations 7 days in advance. You are about to enter the world’s largest and most magnificent imperial palace, without any equal, dwarfing counterparts such as the Nymphenburg Palace of Munich, Royal Alcazar of Seville, Topkapi Palace in Istanbul, and the Imperial Palace in Tokyo. Prepare to be astounded as you discover its sheer scale, which includes a remarkable total of 9,999 rooms! This reveals the concentration of power and extravagant life of Chinese feudal rulers, sustained by the continuous brutal exploitation of the common people.

With your veteran guide, probe into the essential palaces on the central axis and some special chambers on the two wings, including the highest-ranking Hall of Supreme Harmony, the inner living area for the harem, and the Imperial Garden for leisure and relaxation. When reaching the Palace of Heavenly Purity, the emperor’s primary residence, look up and notice the plaque of ‘Integrity and Brightness’ hanging high inside, which conceals a piece of secret lore - In 1723 AD, an emperor’s decision to abolish the primogeniture system ignited a fierce rivalry among the princes. To end the infighting, he devised a plan: the successor’s name would be sealed in a hidden box, placed behind the plaque. Only after the emperor's death was his will retrieved and announced, revealing the new emperor.

11:00 - 12:30
Drive to Mutianyu Great Wall

Afterward, your guide will accompany you in our air-conditioned vehicle for around 1.5 hours to the Mutianyu Great Wall, the longest and most beautiful section in Beijing. During the drive, the guide will share with you some historical facts and less-known titbits of the Great Wall of China.

 Why Do We Choose Mutianyu?
Among several sections of the Great Wall in Beijing, we’ve carefully selected Mutianyu for you, because it’s one of the foremost and well-preserved sections, featuring dense and distinctive watchtowers, and a core strategic pass used for command and combat. Compared with the well-known Badaling section, Mutianyu Great Wall is less crowed, more popular with international visitors, and features more primitive scenery and complete facilities.

12:30 - 13:30
Buffet Lunch

Time to refuel before the challenging afternoon hike on the Great Wall! Your guide will invite you to a buffet restaurant close to the Wall. Feast on a variety of authentic local dishes that satisfies both your appetite and palate, along with unlimited supplies of fruit, iced water, and soft drinks.

13:30 - 16:30
Mutianyu Great Wall

Seeing the Mutianyu winding along the steep mountain ridges with your own eyes, you would now turn the scenes on postcards or in movies into reality. The Great Wall stood as a crucial defensive barrier against northern nomadic tribes throughout its 2,200-year history. Even the reputedly invincible Genghis Khan (1162-1227 AD) struggled against this fortification. His grandson, Kublai Khan (1215-1294 AD), later breached the Wall, defeated the central Chinese Southern Song Dynasty in 1279 AD, launching the frenzied expansion of the Mongol Empire that is widely known. A century later, the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD) reclaimed power. Ming Chinese Army analyzed previous gains and losses, rebuilt and fortified key sections of the Great Wall, including the Mutianyu you see today. This allowed them to finally defeat the Mongol Empire and completely destroy the then Mongol capital, Karakoram.

Guest Privilege: Cable Car, Chairlift & Toboggan Included

Conquering this bucket-list landmark is now effortless! Our all-inclusive tour provides modern facilities to help you realize your dream. The round-trip cable car from the entrance to Watchtower No. 14 high on the Great Wall, is perfect for visitors of all ages. For a more thrilling and fun experience, you can choose to ascend by chairlift and descend on a fast, exhilarating toboggan ride, offering a round trip from the entrance to the lower Watchtower No. 6. Your guide will communicate with you prior to arrival to confirm your choice.
● Restrictions for Toboggan: Children under 10 years old need to be accompanied by an adult; visitors aged 60 and above, or those with acrophobia, hypertension, or heart disease, are not permitted to use the toboggan. Please consider your physical condition carefully before participation.

The facilities will help you bypass the initial 800 boring and strenuous steps, and save one hour of your valuable time. This ensures you quickly reach the core sections, with maximum time to truly enjoy and the exciting Great Wall hike. The sheer scale and spectacular scenery will inspire your innate spirit for wild adventure. Set your own pace and deciding how many towers to climb. We encourage younger, energetic hikers to take the ultimate challenge: a 2-hour round-trip hike from Watchtower No. 14 to the highest point on Watchtower No. 23. How did the towers work in ancient times? When there was an invasion, soldiers would light fires and cannons on the towers to transmit information: one fire and one cannon signaled less than 100 enemies, three of each meant 1,000 to 5,000 enemies, and five indicated more than 10,000 attackers were approaching. Standing on the towers, you can feel the echoes of history and snap photos to memorize your wonderful Beijing day trips to Great Wall.

16:30 - 17:00
Chinese Tea Ceremony Experience

Let’s celebrate your accomplishment with a refreshing tea break! Relax in a traditional tea room to observe a professional tea artist demonstrate the intricate process of selecting leaves, preparing tea set, and brewing tea. The elegant artist will then teach you, hand-by-hand, the proper etiquette for smelling the aroma and tasting the tea. During this immersive experience, you can replenish while enjoying free tastings of 5 different flavors of tea, featuring lingering aftertaste and some even having special herbal values. This is a delightful opportunity to absorb fascinating trivia about Chinese tea culture.

17:00 - 19:00
Drive Back & Hotel Drop-off

After a fulfilling day, we’ll now begin the 1.5-hour journey back to downtown. Your guide and the driver will ensure a comfortable return to your hotel. Traffic congestion happens as we approach the late rush hour, and we appreciate your patience and understanding.

The car is brand new. V rented it for two days: one day for a 10-hour tour in Hong Kong, and one day to take us to Shenzhen to visit and then return us to Hong Kong later that evening. NOT BAD.

For our 25th anniversary, my wife and I booked this Sichuan loop. Our guide Wang picked us up with hot tea, small start to a big adventure. Wolong's pandas were incredible, but the real magic began climbing toward Mount Siguniang. Snow peaks, empty valleys, Wang knowing every photo spot. At 4,700 meters near Litang, my wife felt dizzy. Wang had oxygen ready, made us rest. "No rush," he said. Twenty minutes later, we were walking among yaks on the roof of the world. Yading was worth every bumpy mile. Three holy mountains, turquoise lakes, prayer flags in the wind. Eight days, four thousand meters, one unforgettable anniversary.

I booked this 10-day trip for my parents' 30th anniversary. Dad's 62, mom's not a strong traveler, I was nervous. But Wandrift made everything smooth. our guide Tenzin met us at Lijiang airport with a warm smile and white hada scarves. First few days were gentle wandering Old Town, watching Naxi musicians perform. Mom loved the slow pace. Then came the drive to Shangri-La. Winding ountain roads. Mom started looking pale halfway through. Tenzin noticed immediately. He had the driver pull over at a scenic spot, gave mom some local herbal balm, and let her rest for 20 minutes. "No rush," he said. "The mountains will wait." That small kindness changed everything. We made it to Shangri-La. Mom recovered at the hotel while Tenzin took dad and me to visit a local family. Drank butter tea, learned about their daily life. Next day at Songzanlin Monastery, mom was back to her usual self, snapping photos and asking questions. Other highlights: hiking through Pudacuo's meadows, spotting yaks for the first time, the prayer flags fluttering in the wind. But what I'll remember most is that moment on the mountain road~a guide who cared more about my mom's comfort than keeping schedule. For anyone traveling with older parents in Yunnan, this tour is it.

My friend and I booked this 5days trip for a quick getaway. Zhangjiajie's sandstone pillars looked like something from another planet. Our guide Liu timed the Bailong Elevator perfectly, no lines, just mist rising around us like entering Pandora. At Tianmen Mountain, I froze at the glass walkway. My friend had to drag me across while Liu pretended not to watch. Furong Ancient Town surprised us. The waterfall flowing right through town at night, lights reflecting on water, we just sat there with noodles, saying nothing. Fenghuang felt like stepping back in time. Liu arranged a boat ride at dusk. Our rower sang local songs, lights coming on along the stilted houses. Magic. For a short China trip hitting big sights, this works perfectly.

Shanghai Disneyland was pure joy. Less crowded than expected, rides fantastic, and the castle stunning. Even as an adult, I felt like a kid again.

This hotel was such a nice upgrade on my trip through Xinjiang, Gansu and Ningxia. I was really surprised—China’s desert hotels are just as good as the ones in Morocco!Too bad we only had 2 days in Ningxia. The place is super nice, and all three of us were blown away. They have stargazing sessions and sand dune activities too.And the price here is even cheaper than on Ctrip. I totally recommend it!

As retirees living in Thailand, we usually prefer slower travel, but this 8-day Chengdu, Chongqing, and Zhangjiajie tour struck the perfect balance. Watching giant pandas at their morning feeding at the world’s largest breeding base was pure magic. Our guide, Helen, knew exactly when to arrive to avoid the crowds, her attention to detail was impeccable throughout. In Chongqing, Helen helped us navigate the dizzying levels of Hongya Cave at dusk; watching it transform into a real-life Spirited Away scene along the Jialing River was unforgettable. She even taught us to use Alipay and DiDi=we felt like locals! The Wulong karst bridges left us speechless. But Zhangjiajie? Surreal. Riding the world's tallest outdoor elevator up into those misty quartz peaks felt like entering Pandora. Helen arranged a morning hike along Gold Whip Streat, just us, bird songs, and towering cliffs. Between cities, we experienced China's high speed rail, smooth, punctual, and hitting 300 km each hours. We also tried food delivery apps and bike-sharing with Helen's guidance. Four modern technologies, one exceptional guide. Deeply grateful.

we booked this 11-day trip for our first China visit. From Beijing's grandeur to Shanghai's skyline, every stop impressed. In Beijing, our guide Lucy took us to the Great Wall early, just us and misty mountains. She knew exactly where to stand for photos without crowds. The Forbidden City felt endless in the best way. Xi'an's Terracotta Warriors left us speechless. Lisa arranged a warrior-making workshop where we both failed hilariously at clay molding. That lopsided soldier now sits on our shelf. zhangjiawei stunned us most. Glass bridge had my husband gripping the railing while I laughed. Our guide Michael noticed my fear of heights and quietly suggested the forest path instead, shanghai's Huangpu cruise at night was pure magic. Different cities, different guides, all wonderful. For couples wanting hassle-free China, this tour delivers.
